PM Narendra Modi Releases 8th Installment Of Over Rs 20,000 Crore To Farmers Under PM-KISAN Scheme

Prime Minister Narendra Modi immediately launched the eighth installment of over Rs 20,000 crore to greater than 9.5 crore farmer beneficiaries below the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme through video-conferencing.

Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, who was current on the event, mentioned West Bengal has joined the scheme with greater than 7 lakh farmers of the state getting the profit immediately.

Beneath the PM-KISAN scheme, the federal government is offering Rs 6,000 in three equal installments to 14 crore farmers yearly. The quantity is immediately transferred into the financial institution accounts of the beneficiaries by direct profit switch (DBT) mode.

An quantity of over Rs 1.15 lakh crore has been transferred to farmer beneficiaries to this point below the PM-KISAN scheme, launched on February 24, 2019.

PM Modi will even work together with 5 farmers from states like Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Meghalaya, Jammu and Kashmir and Andaman and Nicobar on the event.
