Seven lakh farmers of West Bengal on Friday acquired the primary installment of PM Kisan scheme, which had been a bone of competition between the Centre and state. The PM on Friday launched the eighth installment of over Rs 20,000 crore to over 9.5 crore farmer beneficiaries underneath the scheme by way of video-conferencing. The scheme immediately gives Rs 6,000 yearly to farmers in three equal installments.
